About The Rev Matt Wahlgren (January 2025)

The Rev. Matt Wahlgren was raised in a Pentecostal tradition and explored various evangelical faith communities before finding his spiritual home in the Episcopal Church. Before his ordination, Matt’s journey included working as a commercial salmon fisherman in Alaska and serving as the assistant director at Food for Thought in Toledo. Alongside his wife and three daughters, Matt dedicated seven transformative years to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Fremont. In March 2024, Matt and his family returned to their roots and have since embraced the Perrysburg community, where they have found a renewed sense of connection and belonging.

Sunday services at 8:00am and 10:00am 

Children’s Sunday School (Pre-K–2nd grade and 3rd–5th grade) takes place during the 10:00 AM service, with youth gathering after the service. Parents and children begin together in worship, with children exiting for their classes during the service.

Timothy’s Perrysburg Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed in 2023 to operate programs created and formerly operated by St. Timothy's Episcopal Church in Perrysburg, OH. The Foundation’s mission is to clothe, feed, and fulfill those in need in and around Perrysburg. OH. It does this through three programs: Tim’s Rescue Kitchen, the Discovers Music Series, and Clothesline, a free donated clothing store.
